The short version: if you give us your email, we use it to tell you when Alongside launches. We don’t sell it, share it for marketing, or track you around the web.
Who we are
Alongside Clothing is run by Leon Gaffar in the United Kingdom. Leon is responsible for your data. You can reach us at contact@leongaffar.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up. We store it with the date you signed up and whether you’ve confirmed it.
- A scrambled version of your IP address, used only to stop spam signups. It can’t be turned back into your IP address, and we delete it after a day.
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
Why, and on what basis
We use your email to tell you about the launch and, if you stay subscribed, about new pieces. We do this because you asked us to, which in UK data protection law is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the signup list.
- Resend delivers our emails, when we send them.
They act only on our instructions. They may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We review the list at least once a year and remove addresses we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that deletes your address straight away. For anything else, email us at the address above.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
